The Master of Divinity schools curriculum emphasizes the significance of the gospel, the church and the kingdom of God. Prepare for your mission and capture the crucial components of a well-rounded theological education that inspire a life of faithful ministry.
In our Master of Divinity program, you are exposed to a profound depth of religious inquiry and biblical and theological study to increase your wisdom. From a scholarly perspective, you investigate the Christian faith and various religions and ideologies throughout the world. Through a progression of learning, you also gain insight in the areas of Christian ethics, preaching, and apologetics.

Wikipedia describes the criteria of the M.Div. as follows: “The MDiv is a significantly more extensive program than most taught (as opposed to research-based) master’s degrees. In the United States, the degree usually consists on average of 80-90 semester hours, as opposed to the usual 36 or 48. Ordination in most mainline Protestant denominations and the Roman Catholic Church thus requires seven or eight years of education past high school: the first four in undergraduate studies leading to a bachelor’s degree (which may or may not be in a related field) and then three or four years of seminary or divinity school education leading to the MDiv.
